What you'll do
Location: Mainly Remote Start: ASAP Language: English MAAP is looking for experienced consultants to support CBAM emissions verification assignments within the iron, steel and aluminium sectors. Responsibilities
- Review emissions monitoring plans and emissions reports
- Assess calculations, process descriptions and supporting documentation
- Perform or support audit and verification activities
- Review emissions monitoring and reporting processes
- Participate in occasional site visits outside the EU when required
Mandatory requirements
- Demonstrable experience with emissions monitoring and reporting within iron, steel or aluminium
- Experience with EU ETS or comparable emissions reporting frameworks
- Demonstrable experience with audit and/or verification
- Good written and spoken English
Additional experience considered valuable
- CBAM
- ISO 14064-3
- Process metallurgy
- Steel or aluminium production processes
- Energy and carbon balances
Assignment
- Mainly remote
- Project-based workload
- Occasional international travel may be required
- Compensation based on hourly rate or fixed fee per assignment
