We are looking for a Finance Applications & Integration Specialist who will play a key role in both the management and development of our Finance systems and Business processes. The role focuses on designing, configuring, developing, and integrating functionality that support and improve Finance processes while maximizing the use of our standard applications. You will work closely with the rest of our support team, Finance stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project teams to ensure our solutions create business value and support an efficient and scalable application landscape. As our Business Solutions Engineer III - Finance IT, you will: - Develop and implement new functionality within our Finance applications using configuration-first principles whenever possible. - Act as a technical owner for one or more applications. Making sure systems are up to date. - Managing technical incidents. - Participating in evaluation and creation of Change Requests - Be a knowledge lead in the tech area, supporting colleagues and evaluating new strategic areas in your domain. - Design, build, and maintain integrations between Finance systems and other enterprise platforms. - Investigate, evaluate, and define integration requirements when new products and solutions are introduced. - Act as a technical representative from the Finance IT team in projects involving new applications, integrations, or platform changes. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into sustainable system solutions. - Support continuous improvement of Finance processes through automation, standardization, and effective use of application capabilities. - Provide technical analysis, solution design, and implementation recommendations aligned with architectural and operational standards. - Work closely with vendors, internal IT teams, and Finance users to ensure successful delivery and support of solutions. This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and functions under a hybrid model, reporting to the Dir, Business Solutions - Finance IT. REQUIREMENTS You are a curious and solution-oriented professional who enjoys combining technology with business process understanding. You have a strong interest in how Finance organizations operate and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable analyzing requirements, designing integrations, and identifying opportunities, together with application specialists, to solve business needs through standard functionality before considering custom development. - Experience working with Application support. - Experience developing functionality and integrations in SAP by Design. - Experience working with other enterprise applications, preferably within Finance, ERP, or related business systems. - Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and integration design principles. - Understanding Finance processes such as Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, or Order-to-Cash, or a strong willingness to learn about them. - Experience configuring and optimizing standard application functionality rather than relying on custom development whenever possible. - Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solution designs. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Finance stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources. - Experience participating in implementation projects, solution evaluations, or application development initiatives. - Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor colleagues, lead technical knowledge development, and evaluate emerging technologies to support continuous improvement and innovation. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Must currently reside in and be eligible for employment in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available for this role.
