Business Lawyer

As our Business Lawyer, you will become a key member of our team and a strategic legal partner to senior management. The Role As our Business Lawyer, you will become a central part of our core team in Stockholm. You will take responsibility for Dahlgren Capital’s day-to-day legal matters while working closely with senior management and our investment team on strategic and business-critical matters. The role is broad and will give you exposure to investments, transactions, corporate matters and entrepreneurship. You will work closely with our internal team as well as external legal advisers, investors, entrepreneurs and company management teams. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of and developing Dahlgren Capital’s day-to-day commercial legal matters
• Acting as a strategic legal adviser and sounding board to senior management
• Supporting the investment team in connection with investments and transactions
• Working with corporate law, commercial agreements and other business-critical legal matters
• Coordinating and collaborating with external legal advisers when required
• Bringing a commercial legal perspective to the continued development of Dahlgren Capital and our investments

Who We Believe You Are You are a commercially minded lawyer who believes that legal expertise is at its best when it helps enable great business. You are analytical and detail-oriented, while also pragmatic and solution-driven. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with short decision-making processes, where initiative and ownership are encouraged. We believe you:

• Have approximately 3–6 years of experience from a commercial law firm and/or an in-house legal role
• Have experience with, or a strong understanding of, SPV structures, international and/or Luxembourg fund structures, M&A, corporate law, investments or finance
• Have strong commercial judgement and can combine high legal standards with a business-oriented perspective
• Communicate fluently in both Swedish and English
• Are independent, collaborative and solution-oriented
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where things move quickly
• Want to take ownership and actively shape the business, rather than simply manage existing structures
