What you'll do

Your mission

Do you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and get excited about identifying new opportunities and initiating conversations with customers? Business Development Representative (m/f/d) In this role, youll be liaising with potential Finnish customers alongside our marketing team and Account Executives. Your main tasks will be to qualify leads generated by the marketing team (Marketing Qualified Leads, (MQL)) and incoming enquiries, and to ensure that potential customers are ready to move on to the next stage of the sales process. In addition, you will reach out to targeted potential client companies, thereby generating new sales opportunities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships and is motivated by tangible results. You can take on this role on a full-time or part-time basis.

What you will be doing

  • You will respond quickly to leads generated by marketing and incoming enquiries, and contact potential customers when their interest is at its peak.
  • You will identify potential customers needs, challenges and purchasing process, and assess their suitability as clients.
  • You will arrange high-quality sales meetings and ensure that leads are seamlessly handed over to the appropriate Account Executive.
  • You will carry out targeted outbound prospecting with pre-agreed specific client companies. And you will generate new sales opportunities.
  • You will build trust with decision-makers and drive discussions forward with determination.
  • You will handle objections professionally and identify the clients real challenges without resorting to a pre-written script.
  • You will carefully log all activities, conversations and sales opportunities in the HubSpot CRM system.
  • You will work closely with marketing and sales to improve the quality of leads and maximise their conversion rate.
  • You work in a goal-oriented manner and consistently achieve your targets relating to the pipeline, meetings and lead qualification.

Your profile

  • You have 2–4 years work experience as a Tele Sales Representative or Sales Development Representative (SDR) at a B2B SaaS company.
  • You have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets relating to the sales pipeline and the number of appointments, and you can demonstrate your results using concrete metrics.
  • You are highly proficient at making outbound calls and know how to steer the conversation, ask insightful questions and handle objections with confidence.
  • You are energetic and positive, and genuinely enjoy working with and talking to people.
  • You are a native speaker of Finnish and can communicate well in English.
  • You are self-motivated, receptive to feedback and tenacious. You actively seek feedback, learn quickly and remain motivated even after rejections and negative responses.
  • You are proficient in using modern sales technologies, such as HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales engagement platforms and data enrichment tools.
  • You have strong organisational skills and are able to manage multiple simultaneous leads and priorities effectively.
