About the role As the Company continues establish their reach across Europe, they are seeking an experienced Business Development and Sales Specialist with a background in genetics, molecular biology, life sciences or a related field to spearhead the pre-established Nordics and Baltics region, facilitating further revenue growth and securing their foothold within the region. This is a rare opportunity to champion advanced genetic testing services, working with laboratory and clinical teams to further expand access to genetics services Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting weekly and quarterly regional sales forecasts
• Developing short-term and long-term strategic growth plans
• Identifying and supporting new market opportunities
• Building strong customer relationships to drive penetration, retention, and loyalty
• Delivering agreed sales targets and business plans
• Prioritizing projects, opportunities, and resources effectively
• Identifying, mapping, and nurturing Key Opinion Leaders
• Providing market intelligence to support strategic planning
• Monitoring competitor activities and developing tactical responses
• Coordinating with Marketing to support campaigns, updates, and customer engagement
• Tracking and reporting progress on sales activities and key opportunities to Sales Management
• Supporting process and operational improvement initiatives
• Responding to internal and external enquiries
• Managing contracts and supporting negotiation processes

Qualifications & Required Skills

• University degree or master’s degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related field; a PhD would be beneficial but not necessary.
• A solid scientific background in genetics, molecular biology, or related diagnostics areas.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a life science, diagnostics, or molecular testing environment with a preferability of selling into large public hospitals, major laboratories and national healthcare systems.
• Proven Track record of sales success along with an existing network.
• Experience with complex commercial opportunities, key account development, or solution-based selling.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Commercial acumen and a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and drive business growth.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of working time.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Comfortable working in a remote/home-office setup.

Salary: Highly Competitive Base Salary + Bonus
