What you'll do

About Kontorva Kontorva is a technology company based in Espoo. We are growing our commercial team in Finland and are looking for a Business Development Associate to work directly with our CEO. The role You will be part of the engine that brings in new customers and partners. You will work across our products and service lines, with Finland as your first market. The work is 15 hours a week, Monday to Thursday, split between our Espoo office and remote work. What you will do

  • Keep our sales pipeline up to date and report weekly on what is moving
  • Co-lead Finnish-language customer meetings with the CEO, prepare proposals and follow up
  • Run onboarding for new customers and trial users, and pass their feedback to our product team
  • Spot, build and maintain relationships with partner organisations and institutions, such as export promotion agencies and innovation hubs

What we are looking for

  • Native-level Finnish and fluent English
  • Studying business or sales, or a recent graduate
  • Comfortable on calls and in meetings, and in building relationships with institutions and senior contacts
  • Clear writing in outreach and follow-up
  • Independent: you manage your own work and keep it visible to the team
  • Happy to work across several products

Nice to have: experience with a CRM tool, familiarity with retail, hospitality or wholesale, and an interest in data or software products. What we offer

  • A fixed monthly gross salary of 1,200 EUR
  • A fixed-term contract of 12 months with a probation period, and a clear path to a permanent role
  • Direct work with the CEO and exposure to the full sales cycle, from first contact to a signed customer
  • Flexible hours that fit around studies, in a company that works a four-day week (Monday to Thursday)
