What you'll do

Job ID: 5161 What You Will Be Doing As a Business Developer, you will contribute to strategic and commercial development topics across Commercial Development, Commercial Execution and Private Banking Sweden, helping turn ideas and business needs into practical solutions and measurable improvements. You will:

  • Drive business development initiatives in close collaboration with the Private Banking leadership team that support Private Banking Sweden’s growth agenda and strengthen commercial performance.
  • Identify, assess and develop new business opportunities, customer propositions, services and ways of working.
  • Translate strategic priorities into concrete initiatives and lead projects and workstreams involving stakeholders across Private Banking, Asset & Wealth Management and other parts of Nordea.
  • Represent Private Banking Sweden in strategic projects across countries and business areas.
  • Prepare analyses, business cases, recommendations and presentation material to support decision-making & prioritisation.
  • Follow market trends, customer needs and business performance to identify opportunities for growth, while ensuring successful implementation and follow-up of business initiatives across local and Nordic markets.

Who You Are You are curious, proactive and driven by creating business value. You enjoy working with complex challenges, engaging stakeholders and turning strategic ambitions into tangible outcomes. You combine strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and you are comfortable navigating both strategic discussions and implementation details. Your background and skills include:

  • Experience in business development, management consulting, strategy, transformation or project management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing decision material and executive presentations.
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives and deliver results in a complex stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A relevant academic degree, such as a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in business, economics, finance, engineering or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish.

It would be valuable if you also have:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
