We are now looking for a Business (FP&A) Controller who wants to take on a visible and business-critical role, helping shape the future of healthcare through data-driven financial insights and strong business partnering. As part of our Nordic organization, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and senior leadership teams in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. You will act as a trusted finance partner, translating financial data into actionable insights that support performance, profitability, and strategic decision-making. This is a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvements, strengthen financial processes, and contribute to Mediq's ongoing transformation journey across the Nordics. About the role As a Business (FP&A) Controller Sweden, you will be part of the Nordic Finance team, reporting to the Head of FP&A. You will play a key role in planning, reporting, forecasting, and business performance management, ensuring that financial insights support both operational and strategic objectives. The role combines strong analytical finance expertise with business partnering, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement. You will work across countries and functions, providing clear financial guidance while helping the business identify opportunities to improve performance and profitability. Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the financial performance cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes across the Nordic organization.
• Deliver relevant management reporting, financial analyses, and performance insights to both Mediq Nordics leadership and Mediq Group.
• Analyze business performance, financial results, and key performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Support liquidity management, financial planning activities, and decision-making through scenario analysis, business cases, and financial modelling.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Represent Finance in strategic and operational initiatives focused on profitability improvement, operational effectiveness, and business transformation.

Contribute to acquisitions, divestments, process improvements, and automation initiatives that strengthen financial performance and reporting capabilities. - What you bring

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within FP&A, Controlling, Business Controlling, or another analytical finance function.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis, and KPI performance management.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, combined with experience working with BI tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with ERP and financial consolidation systems; knowledge of IFS and/or Cognos Controller is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.

English is required. Swedish and/or Norwegian language skills are considered a strong advantage. - Why join Mediq?
