Business Controller

Pricer is now looking for a commercially minded and analytical Business Controller with a strong focus on sales, profitability and margins. In this role, you will combine financial analysis with a strong business perspective in an international organization operating across multiple markets. As a Business Controller, you will work closely with both Sales and Operations, with a strong focus on analyzing and following up COGS, margins and profitability. You will also work with budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, translating financial data into actionable business insights. The role offers plenty of scope to influence and develop your area of responsibility. You will be expected to take initiative and drive improvements, developing processes and ways of working as well as establishing relevant KPIs and tools for effective business management. You will be part of a team of three and report to the Head of Business Control. The position is based in central Stockholm. Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the budgeting and forecasting process, including KPI and performance analysis
• Analyze COGS, margins and profitability, identifying key drivers, trends, risks and opportunities
• Act as a business partner, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making
• Develop and monitor relevant KPIs and identify new areas for analysis and follow-up
• Prepare and present financial analysis and insights to key stakeholders
• Drive improvements in reporting, processes and ways of working

Qualifications

• A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field, or equivalent education
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Control, with a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Experience in retail or another product-oriented business, preferably in a commercially focused role, is considered an advantage
• Strong Excel skills and a good understanding of ERP and financial systems, combined with an interest in new technology and modern ways of working
• Excellent Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken
