What you'll do

emagine is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Business Controller to support a Group Finance organization during a transitional period. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where the consultant will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, providing financial insights, and supporting planning and reporting activities. The ideal candidate is highly self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating closely with finance and business stakeholders across multiple regions. Start: ASAP Duration: 4 months (with potential extension) Location: Stockholm (Hybrid) On-site Requirement: Minimum 3 days per week in the office Working Hours: Standard business hours (09:00–17:00 CET) About the role:

  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial performance reports across regions and business areas
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
  • Drive and support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery
  • Monitor financial KPIs, analyze variances, identify trends, and highlight potential risks and opportunities
  • Partner with regional and local stakeholders to align financial planning with commercial objectives
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reporting structures
  • Ensure data quality and reporting integrity across finance systems and tools
  • Support ongoing finance operations and contribute to continuous process improvements

Your profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, or similar finance roles
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting
  • Proven ability to transform complex financial data into clear and actionable business insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong self-leadership and ability to operate independently in a high-tempo environment
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly in systems and manage detailed financial analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Anaplan is highly valued
  • Strong systems and data modeling capabilities
  • Experience working in global technology, SaaS, telecommunications, or other fast-growing international organizations
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting tool experience
  • Familiarity with complex multi-regional business environments
