Senior Business Automation & Partnership Tooling Consultant For the flight division of a client operating in Travel, we are looking for a Stockholm-based external consultant. Overview An industry-leading technology business within the travel sector is seeking a Senior Business Automation & Partnership Tooling Consultant to support a high-profile strategic partnership operation. This role sits within a business-facing team responsible for managing complex cross-company collaboration across multiple operational workstreams. The team coordinates stakeholder interactions, escalations, reporting cycles, dependency tracking, and executive-level governance activities. The successful consultant will help design and implement the tooling, automation, and reporting capabilities required to scale partnership operations. What You'll Be Doing Discovery & Process Analysis

• Observe and analyse existing operational processes
• Attend stakeholder meetings and working sessions
• Map workflows and identify operational bottlenecks
• Assess current tooling, reporting, and information flows
• Deliver recommendations and an implementation roadmap

Jira & Workflow Automation

• Design and configure Jira project structures
• Build workflows, dashboards, custom fields, and automation rules
• Implement action tracking and dependency management processes
• Support integration between multiple Jira environments
• Migrate existing tracking processes from spreadsheets into Jira

KPI Dashboarding & Reporting

• Build shared operational KPI dashboards
• Consolidate information from multiple data sources
• Improve visibility of performance, delivery, and escalation metrics
• Create leadership and operational reporting views

Slack Monitoring & Operational Intelligence

• Develop monitoring capabilities across multiple Slack channels
• Detect and classify operational issues and escalation signals
• Build configurable alerting and notification mechanisms
• Generate automated summaries and insights

AI-Enabled Automation

• Utilize enterprise-approved LLM technologies such as Claude and Gemini
• Implement classification, summarisation, and information extraction workflows
• Create maintainable AI-powered automation solutions
• Focus on practical business applications rather than model development

Documentation & Handover

• Produce clear operational documentation
• Create maintenance guides for non-technical users
• Document configuration options and solution architecture
• Support knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability

Required Skills & Experience Essential

• Process discovery, workflow analysis, and business process improvement
• Jira and Confluence administration
• Slack API development and integration
• Google Workspace integrations (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar)
• Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript development
• Experience building business applications using LLM technologies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable

• Cross-instance Jira integrations
• Looker Studio or operational dashboard development
• Prompt engineering experience
• Slack Bolt framework
• Data migration projects
• AI coding assistant experience (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
• Experience within partnership management, business operations, or large-scale technology environments

Profile We're looking for an experienced consultant who is:

Contract Information

• Freelance only- 3 month initial contract
• Hybrid working in Stockholm, Sweden
• Senior-level consultancy assignment
