Brand Designer

The role As a Brand Designer, you’ll help build SCRL’s visual identity and turn it into a distinctive, recognizable brand across every touchpoint. You’ll work across brand, website, campaigns, social, marketing, app launches and other creative initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with the design leadership and other teams across SCRL to make sure everything we put into the world feels connected and intentional. This is a hands-on role. We’re looking for someone who can think big and conceptually, but who also enjoys opening Figma and making the work themselves. Someone who cares about the idea, but cares just as much about how it’s executed. What You’ll Do

• Evolve and strengthen SCRL’s visual identity and design language
• Develop creative concepts and campaigns that make SCRL stand out
• Design assets for web, social, app stores, launches and marketing
• Create visual systems, templates and guidelines that help the wider team work consistently
• Explore new visual directions and bring fresh ideas to the brand
• Help define and raise the creative quality bar across SCRL
• Contribute to the broader creative vision and visual culture of the team

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in brand, visual or digital design
• A strong portfolio with distinctive, thoughtful and highly crafted work
• Excellent understanding of typography, composition, color and art direction
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to turn an idea into compelling visual work
• Experience designing for digital and social-first environments
• Strong attention to detail and a high bar for craft
• Comfortable moving between strategy, concepts and hands-on production
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
• Experience with Framer is a plus (website)
• Experience with motion is a plus

The kind of person you are You’re curious, visually driven and always looking for ways to make things better. You have strong taste and a clear point of view, but you’re not precious about your ideas. You can explain why something works, take feedback and quickly make it better. You care about the details, but you also know when to move fast. You’re comfortable figuring things out as you go and don’t need everything to be perfectly defined before you start.
