What you'll do

Riviera Marine S.A.M. is an international bunker trading house headquartered in Monaco, with offices and colleagues across Europe, the Middle East and North America. Since 2002 we have supplied marine fuels and lubricants to the global shipping industry, and today we operate in more than 300 ports across 50 countries. As part of the continued growth of our Copenhagen office, we are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounting Officer to run the finance function of our Danish entity. THE ROLE You will own the bookkeeping for our Danish entity and act as the finance link to our group companies abroad. Your responsibilities include: ■ Day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end closing ■ Invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable ■ VAT reporting and compliance with Danish authorities, including VAT on cross-border transactions ■ Bank, payments and cash flow management, including multi-currency transactions ■ Payroll administration ■ Intercompany transactions and reporting to group companies abroad ■ Supporting intercompany and transfer pricing documentation ■ Working closely with our external auditor on the annual accounts WHO YOU ARE ■ Several years of experience with Danish bookkeeping, VAT and payroll ■ Experience with e-conomic, our current system, or similar platforms ■ Fluent in Danish and confident working in English ■ Structured, independent and precise, with a hands-on attitude ■ Experience with international companies, intercompany accounting or trading/shipping is a strong plus WHAT WE OFFER ■ A key role in an international organisation where your work has a direct impact on the business ■ Daily collaboration with colleagues across our international organisation ■ An exciting industry at the centre of global trade and the energy transition ■ Office in central Copenhagen K ■ Salary based on qualifications ■ Flexible hours: full-time, or part-time for the right candidate.
