Backend Engineer

Syntrace builds conversational knowledge for institutional investors. We capture, organize and synthesize private conversations into source-backed knowledge a firm can build on. We are now hiring a Backend Engineer, based in Stockholm. You will work in a small senior team where you own your work end to end. Our users trust us with the most sensitive conversations they have. That makes security part of the product, not a feature on top of it. What you bring:

• Several years building production backend systems at a fast-growing company.
• Strong Python, with FastAPI and PostgreSQL as a plus.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, real-time systems or both.
