Backend Developer (Node.js and IOT)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer / Cloud DevOps Engineer to join an IoT and connectivity platform team developing cloud-native services for connected products. This is a hands-on backend role with end-to-end ownership from development and testing through deployment and production operations. Duration - 14 months + extensions Mode of work - Onsite Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native backend services using TypeScript/JavaScript & Node.js.
• Build scalable microservices, REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Work with AMQP, HTTP, gRPC, WebSockets and distributed systems.
• Develop and operate workloads on AWS, including API Gateway, NLB/ALB, ElastiCache and RDS.
• Work with MongoDB, Valkey and SQL databases.
• Deploy and operate containerised/serverless workloads using Kubernetes, ideally EKS.
• Contribute to CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability and deployment automation.
• Own solutions across development, production operations, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• Approximately 5–10+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
• Strong AWS and cloud-native development experience.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven/distributed architectures.
• Hands-on REST APIs and protocols such as AMQP, HTTP and gRPC.
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL/RDS and Valkey/Redis.
• Kubernetes, containerisation and serverless experience.
• Strong CI/CD, IaC, DevOps and observability experience.
