AV Site Survey Engineer

Sharp Brains is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to conduct an onsite technical survey and audit of a small meeting room at a client site in Rogaland, Norway. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct an onsite assessment of the meeting room's infrastructure and technical readiness.
• Measure room dimensions and assess power availability, cabling pathways, and network connectivity.
• Review infrastructure requirements for a potential meeting room / AV deployment.
• Prepare a conceptual room layout and design based on the site findings.
• Develop a RACI matrix defining implementation responsibilities.
• Submit a technical assessment report covering site readiness, constraints, recommendations, and a preliminary Bill of Materials (BOM), where applicable.

- Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, AV infrastructure, or technical site surveys.
• Practical understanding of structured cabling, network connectivity, power requirements, and meeting room infrastructure.
• Ability to independently assess a site and document technical findings.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to attend the site on 20 October 2026 and deliver the required documentation.

- Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with corporate meeting room installations, AV deployments, or IT infrastructure audits.
• Familiarity with network rack layouts, cabling design, and infrastructure readiness assessments.
