ARE YOU AN AUTOMOTIVE PAINTER OR SURFACE TREATMENT SPECIALIST LOOKING FOR A ROLE WHERE YOU CAN WORK HANDS-ON, LEARN NEW SKILLS AND DEVELOP YOUR EXPERTISE?

As part of a new product line, ABS1 Oy is manufacturing fiberglass roof structures for vans, and we are now looking for an Automotive Painter / Surface Treatment Specialist to join the team.

You don't need to know everything from day one. If you have a solid foundation in surface treatment and some experience or training in spray painting, you're already off to a good start. Fiberglass lamination will be taught on the job.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will be involved in the manufacturing of a new product and work with a variety of surface treatment tasks:

• cleaning and sanding surfaces

• filling and priming

• spray painting

• fiberglass lamination

Fiberglass lamination may be completely new to you – and that's perfectly fine. You will receive training and learn the process hands-on.

In this role, quality matters. Attention to detail, careful working and patience are directly reflected in the finished result, so this is a good fit for someone who takes pride in doing things properly.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn professional who wants to develop their skills through practical work.

You have:

• vocational training and a solid foundation in surface treatment

• some experience or training in spray painting

• a careful and precise approach to your work

• a willingness to learn new things

• the ability to handle moderately physical work

Previous experience in fiberglass lamination is not required. What matters most is that you have a good foundation in surface treatment and are willing to learn.

You can work in Finnish or English – English alone is enough for this position.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Location: Lempäälä, Ideaparkinkatu 11 Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:00, 37.5 hours/week Salary: €2,300–€2,500/month, depending on experience and skills Start: As soon as the right person is found Employment: Permanent employment through Worknow

ABS1 Oy also has another location at Ideaparkinkatu 2. The workplace is easily accessible by public transport, with a bus stop nearby.
