What you'll do

Join our growing team! As an Assembly Assistant, you will play an essential role in the assembly and quality control of our very own product, NestLab. You will work closely with our Operations Lead in the production of this device. NestLab is a smart lab-rodent monitoring device, designed and assembled by Malsen Medical. This is a fixed-term role for our upcoming production batch, lasting approximately 6 to 10 weeks. What you'll do:

  • Assemble NestLab devices and accessories (main units, sensor boards, chargers) following our build instructions and QC checklist
  • Carry out visual and functional quality checks at each stage of assembly
  • Flag defects or component issues early, and help keep an accurate record of what's been built
  • Support with packing and preparing finished units for shipment

What we're looking for:

  • Careful, detail-oriented work
  • Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive technical work (soldering/electronics experience is a plus, but not required, we'll train you)
  • Reliable and able to commit to part-time/hourly shifts
  • Able to work on-site at our Lysaker office

Practical details:

  • Location: Lysaker, Norway (on-site)
  • Type: Part-time, hourly, hours scale with production volume
  • Duration: approximately 6 to 10 weeks
  • Start: as soon as we've found the right person(s). We're hiring 1–2 people for the upcoming batch
