Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Engineer – Agentic Systems We're recruiting on behalf of one of Norway's leading consultancies, and this is a genuine opportunity to work at the sharp end of applied AI, not stuck fine-tuning a chatbot nobody uses. You'll be building agentic systems that go from pilot to production, working alongside some of the strongest AI and ML talent in the country. This isn't research for research's sake. You'll design and build intelligent agents that can plan, reason and act autonomously, using frameworks like LangGraph and the Anthropic Agents SDK. You'll architect RAG solutions that combine LLMs with real enterprise data to produce answers people can actually trust. You'll work with Model Context Protocol for standardised tool access and Agent-to-Agent communication to orchestrate multi-agent systems. And you'll build the governance layer that makes it all safe to ship: guardrails, human-in-the-loop approval flows, and full tracing across every agent operation. Projects span some of Norway's largest private and public sector organisations, so the work is varied, high-stakes, and never filler. You'll be trusted to bring technical depth and also work directly with clients to understand what they actually need. You are

• Technically strong with a genuine curiosity about AI and where it's heading
• Fluent in Python, with real experience in agent frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph or AutoGen
• Comfortable with RAG architecture, vector databases and embedding technologies
• Experienced with cloud platforms such as Azure (Azure OpenAI), AWS or GCP
• A plus if you've worked with MCP, A2A protocols, multi-agent systems, or AgentOps/LLMOps/MLOps
• Norwegian at B2 level or above
