What you'll do

Senior / Mid-Level Analytics Engineer Based in Stockholm Salary - Flexible but ideally landing between 50-65K SEK, dependent on experience. We’re working with a fast-growing, product-led company operating in the consumer space, building a modern data platform to power decision-making across the entire business. They’re now looking for an Analytics Engineer to play a key role in shaping how data is defined, modelled, and used - partnering closely with stakeholders across product, commercial, and operations. Why this role might be of interest? This isn’t a traditional data engineering role focused on pipelines or infrastructure. Instead, you’ll sit at the heart of the business, owning how data is transformed into meaningful, trusted datasets that teams rely on every day. You’ll have real influence over:

  • How core business metrics are defined
  • How data is structured and modelled across the company
  • How stakeholders interact with and trust data

It’s a highly collaborative role where strong communication and curiosity are just as important as technical ability. What will you be doing?

  • Transform raw data into clean, well-structured datasets for analytics and reporting
  • Design and maintain scalable, well-documented data models
  • Work closely with non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
  • Identify inconsistencies or gaps in data and proactively improve data quality
  • Contribute to best practices around analytics engineering and data transformation

Tech environment:

  • Strong focus on SQL and data transformation
  • DBT as a core tool for modelling and transformation
  • Cloud data warehouse environment (e.g. Snowflake or similar)
  • Exposure to orchestration tools like Airflow is beneficial

What we are looking for?

  • Experience working with data in an analytics-focused role (analytics engineer, data analyst, or similar)
  • Strong SQL skills and a passion for working with data
  • A genuine interest in data modelling and structuring data for business use
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data quality and consistency
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders
  • Clear and thoughtful communication style

Nice to have...

  • Experience with DBT
  • Some experience with Python
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools

Who does this suit? This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business and wants to have a direct impact on how data is understood and used - rather than focusing purely on backend infrastructure. It could suit:

  • A data analyst looking to move further upstream into data modelling
  • An analytics engineer looking for more ownership and stakeholder interaction

If you're interested in a role where you can shape the way a company thinks about data - without being confined to pure engineering - this is a genuinely exciting opportunity to make an impact.
