AML, KYC, Risk & Compliance Specialist

Take ownership of AML, KYC, risk and compliance in Secure Payment Secure Payment is the payment entity within AutoProff, handling payments related to our car auctions across the business. We’re looking for a AML, KYC, Risk & Compliance Specialist to take ownership of our compliance framework and help ensure that Secure Payment remains well governed, structured and compliant as we continue to develop the business. This is a broad and hands-on role where you’ll work closely with management, the Board of Directors and colleagues across Tech, Support and Finance. At AutoProff, we’re changing the way used vehicles are traded across Europe. Every day, thousands of vehicles are bought and sold through our platform, connecting professional car dealers across markets. About the role As our new AML, KYC, Risk & Compliance Specialist, you’ll join Secure Payment and be based at our headquarters in Vejle, Denmark. You’ll take responsibility for AML, KYC, risk and compliance activities and help ensure that policies, processes, controls and documentation are kept up to date and work effectively in practice. The role has a broad stakeholder landscape and combines structured compliance work with reporting, administration and practical follow-up. You’ll work closely with the Board of Directors, management, customers and colleagues across AutoProff, including Tech, Support and Finance. Secure Payment is also developing a new reporting methodology, and you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how we structure management information, controls and reporting going forward. What you’ll be doing Your responsibilities will include:

• Own and further develop Secure Payment’s AML, KYC, risk and compliance activities
• Maintain and improve relevant policies, procedures, controls and documentation
• Coordinate and follow up on KYC reviews, customer due diligence, monitoring and relevant AML cases
• Identify, assess and follow up on compliance and operational risks
• Prepare clear and structured reporting for management and the Board of Directors
• Help develop Secure Payment’s reporting methodology and management information
• Follow up on findings, incidents, regulatory requirements and agreed actions
• Work closely with colleagues across Tech, Support, Finance and the wider AutoProff organisation
• Explore how AI and digital tools can support reporting, documentation and compliance processes
• Maintain constructive dialogue with relevant internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for We imagine you have experience with AML and KYC, or a solid understanding of the underlying principles combined with a strong interest in developing your regulatory and legal knowledge further. More specifically, we’re looking for someone with:

• Experience with AML, KYC or related compliance activities
• A structured and administrative approach to work
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on high-quality documentation and reporting
• The ability to maintain an overview and prioritise when several tasks are moving at the same time
• An interest in compliance, risk and regulatory topics
• Good understanding of IT systems and digital tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of your area

Beyond your experience, we’re looking for someone who is structured, curious and hands-on, and who enjoys creating order, following up and making sure things are done properly. Nice to have It’s a plus, but not a requirement, if you have experience with:

• Banking, payment institutions, financial services or another regulated environment
• Risk and compliance in a regulated business
• Reporting to senior management or a Board of Directors
• A banking or financial-services background
• Using AI or digital tools to improve reporting, documentation or compliance processes
