What you'll do

In our Satellite Assembly, Integration, and Verification Team, you will be at the center of planning how spacecraft are assembled, integrated, tested, and tracked. You will translate complex AIV activities into executable production flows and system structures, while coordinating the interfaces that make the flow work in practice. If you combine strong systems understanding with structure, initiative, and a drive to build better solutions, this is your opportunity to shape how we manufacture satellites. About the Position as AIV Planner As AIV Planner, you will own the planning framework supporting spacecraft assembly and verification. You will establish and maintain production flows, routings, and planning data in our ERP system while coordinating activities across AIV, production, project management, and logistics to ensure efficient execution. You will play a key role in developing scalable planning processes, improving digital ways of working, and connecting future ERP and MES capabilities to the needs of spacecraft production. Your experience and ideas will directly influence a more controlled, digital, and scalable production flow. Responsibilities include: You will ensure that spacecraft build plans are translated into controlled and executable work in our operational systems, while aligning the interfaces needed for reliable AIV execution. Production Planning and System Execution

  • Create and maintain AIV routings, production orders, planning parameters, and relevant production master data in the ERP system.
  • Translate engineering structures and AIV plans into practical production sequences with clear dependencies, revisions, effectivity, and material requirements.
  • Monitor order progress and data quality, resolve planning issues, and help establish the ERP system as the operational source of truth for spacecraft build execution.

Cross-functional Planning and Material Flow

  • Coordinate with Electronic Production, Project Management, AIV, engineering, warehouse, and other planners to align readiness, priorities, materials, and handovers.
  • Coordinate AIV inventory and material flow, including allocation, kitting, shortages, transfers, returns, and controlled movement of hardware.

Configuration, Change, and Improvement

  • Maintain configuration and traceability in the ERP system, including correct parts, revisions, serial numbers, routings, effectivity, material movements, and as-built status.
  • Assist the ECR/ECO process by identifying affected routings and production orders, supporting change-impact assessment, and implementing approved changes in the ERP system with the required traceability.

What you bring At GomSpace, it’s not just your technical skills that matter - your character is also important. We value individuals who bring a positive, proactive attitude and can build trust across cultures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking ownership in an environment that is still being built, combining a strong systems understanding with practical knowledge of production flows and the ability to quickly learn new tools and processes. You likely:

  • Have minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, working with ERP, MES, or similar operational systems. Experience with IFS is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
  • Practical understanding of production flows, routings, production orders, material availability, sequencing, and master data.
  • Ability to understand system relationships and translate engineering and operational inputs into a clear, executable production flow.
  • Experience with configuration management, revision control, serial-number traceability, and as-built records.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple interfaces and turn incomplete or changing inputs into a structured plan.
  • Strong drive, ownership, and a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to establish and improve processes rather than only operate existing ones.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English.
