Role Description The AI Transformation Strategist is a full-time, on-site role based in Oslo. This role focuses on helping clients identify, design, and implement AI-driven initiatives that support business growth, operational efficiency, and new value creation. On a day-to-day basis, the AI Transformation Strategist collaborates with client stakeholders to assess current processes and technology, develop AI roadmaps, and prioritize use cases aligned with strategic goals. The role involves translating complex AI concepts into clear business outcomes, briefing multidisciplinary teams, and guiding delivery across strategy, data, technology, and activation. The AI Transformation Strategist also monitors performance, refines solutions based on insights, and contributes to Layer’s evolving AI frameworks, methods, and thought leadership. Qualifications

• Strategic and analytical skills, including experience in digital or business transformation, AI strategy, and translating data and technology trends into actionable plans.
• AI and technology skills, such as familiarity with machine learning and generative AI concepts, data-driven product or service design, and working with AI tools and platforms in practical business contexts.
• Consulting and stakeholder management skills, including facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, building consensus, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project and change management skills, including structuring initiatives, managing timelines and dependencies, and supporting organizational change around new technologies and ways of working.
• Collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams that include strategists, creatives, technologists, and media specialists.
• Relevant experience in a consultancy, agency, product, or innovation role; background in fields such as business, technology, design, or data is beneficial.
• Comfort working in an on-site, client-facing environment in Oslo; proficiency in English is required, and proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
