AI Project Manager

JOB DETAILS: Role: AI Project Manager Location: Copenhagen, Denmark (Hybrid) Type of Hiring: Contract Job Description: We are looking for an experienced AI Project Manager to lead and deliver AI-driven projects from planning through successful implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience combined with a solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Data, Machine Learning, and digital transformation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI and Data projects from initiation to delivery.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Business Teams, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resources.
• Translate business requirements into actionable AI project plans.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely delivery.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Ensure AI solutions meet business, quality, security, and compliance requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication.
• Support adoption and implementation of AI solutions across business functions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall project/program management experience.
• Strong experience managing AI, Machine Learning, Data, or Analytics projects.
• Good understanding of AI/ML concepts, data platforms, and modern technology ecosystems.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.

Preferred

• Experience in AI transformation or enterprise AI implementations.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or similar certification.
• Experience working in international/multicultural environments.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, MLOps, or Cloud AI platforms.
