AI Platform Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a senior AI Platform Engineer for a strategic and technically advanced assignment focused on building the next generation cloud platform for AI-driven services. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and evolving a scalable cloud-native AI platform supporting real-time decisioning, model training, inference, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The platform will process large volumes of event-driven data across multiple markets and will be central to enabling future intelligent digital services. This is a highly hands-on technical role combining cloud architecture, software engineering, data engineering, MLOps, and machine learning infrastructure. You will help define the long-term technical direction while also being deeply involved in the actual implementation. Key Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native AI platforms and services
• Define technical architecture for future AI-driven platform solutions
• Develop scalable systems for ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis of large volumes of event data
• Build and maintain infrastructure for model training, deployment, monitoring, and experimentation
• Develop cloud services supporting both real-time and batch-based AI workloads
• Build and optimize data pipelines for AI products and model development
• Establish strong practices for observability, monitoring, reliability, and operational excellence
• Improve MLOps workflows and automation across the full AI lifecycle
• Support deployment and operation of both edge- and cloud-based AI capabilities
• Collaborate closely with Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams across multiple countries

Main Responsibilities You will take senior technical ownership of the platform’s evolution. This includes driving architectural decisions, building reusable platform capabilities, and ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable over time. You will also act as a trusted technical advisor and sparring partner for other engineers, helping establish best practices within cloud engineering, data engineering, and MLOps. The role requires someone who can balance long-term architectural direction with pragmatic and efficient delivery. We Are Looking For Someone With

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience designing and operating large-scale cloud-native systems
• Experience architecting distributed systems in AWS or similar cloud environments
• Experience building AI platforms, machine learning infrastructure, or large-scale data platforms
• Experience operating production-critical systems with high requirements on reliability, scalability, and availability
• Experience working closely with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers
• Proven ability to make technical decisions and drive architectural direction
• Strong expertise in Python
• Relevant university degree or equivalent practical experience
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
