AI Engineer, Deerdata (Stockholm) Build production AI applications Deerdata is a Stockholm-based consulting firm that helps companies succeed with data, analytics, and AI. Our AI practice is growing fast, and we take ideas all the way to live systems in production. We're hiring an AI Engineer for our AI & Agentic team. You can write code you'd defend in review, and you want to build AI that people actually use: agents that call real systems, retrieval over real customer data, assistants someone opens every day. The demo is the easy part. Shipping AI is the part we'll teach you. What you'll do

• Design and build customer-facing AI solutions with a small team (agents, chat and voice interfaces, generative apps) and take them to production
• Write clean, tested code and own the pieces you build, working with senior engineers on deployment and monitoring
• Run evals and experiments, and learn to care about accuracy, latency, and cost before a client does

What you'll grow into The stack you'll pick up on the job: context engineering, agent orchestration, tool use, evals, observability, and voice. You don't need to know it today. You need to want to. We're looking for someone who has

• 2+ years of professional engineering (software, data, or platform) with solid Python
• The basics down: git, code review, one cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP), containers, CI/CD
• Strong English and comfort working with clients alongside the team. Swedish helps, and some customer projects need it
• Professional AI experience isn't required. If you've tinkered with LLMs or agents on your own time, we want to hear about it

Nice to have

• Data or platform exposure: dbt, Airflow, Terraform
• A GitHub, open-source contributions, or a portfolio you can walk us through
• Any real-time voice or streaming work
