AI & Automation Engineer – Infrastructure / Data Center

We are looking for a hands-on AI & Automation Engineer to modernize enterprise Data Center and Infrastructure operations through automation, observability, self-service and AI-assisted operations. The goal is to reduce manual infrastructure work and move toward a more proactive SRE/PRE/MIRE operating model, with automated provisioning, remediation, monitoring and lifecycle management. What you will work with:

• Build production-grade automation for provisioning, patching, configuration, backup/recovery and infrastructure lifecycle management
• Develop automation using Ansible, Python, PowerShell/Bash, Terraform/OpenTofu, REST APIs, JSON/YAML and Git
• Work across VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, Azure Local/Azure Stack HCI and hybrid cloud
• Support enterprise infrastructure across Windows/Linux, Active Directory, storage, replication, backup and disaster recovery
• Work with data protection platforms such as Cohesity
• Develop AI-assisted infrastructure capabilities using GenAI, LLMs/SLMs, Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry, RAG and AI agents
• Apply AI to use cases such as incident triage, root-cause analysis, capacity forecasting, change-risk assessment and controlled remediation
• Implement AIOps and observability for telemetry, anomaly detection, event correlation and predictive operations
• Work with Azure, Azure Arc, Azure Local, containers/Kubernetes and platform engineering
• Integrate ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/CMDB with infrastructure, monitoring and automation platforms
• Apply Zero Trust, RBAC, security-as-code, auditability and controlled approval processes
• Take automation and AI solutions from POC into secure, supportable production

Required experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Data Center, Infrastructure, Cloud, Virtualization or Automation Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS/DHCP
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter and/or Hyper-V
• Experience with enterprise storage, SAN/NAS, replication and backup/recovery
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and infrastructure automation
• Strong scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell/Bash
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, REST APIs, JSON/YAML and Git
• Experience with Azure, Azure Local/Azure Arc or hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/CMDB
• Experience with AIOps, observability, telemetry and automated remediation
• Practical experience with AI, GenAI, Copilot, AIOps or intelligent infrastructure automation
• Production experience integrating infrastructure platforms through APIs, workflows and orchestration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
