What you'll do

Ready to build and lead an aftermarket organization that sets the standard in our industry? This is your chance to join Weibel and take the lead of our growing Aftermarket organization. You will join a Danish high-tech market leader with a predominantly export based customer base. We are a profitable growth company with a strong position in our core markets and ambitious plans for expansion into new and significant business areas. As our installed base of radar systems grows worldwide, so does the importance of our aftermarket business. We offer a key leadership role with a real mandate to shape, build and develop the full aftermarket and customer support function, from people and processes to strategy and growth. Lead aftermarket excellence for state-of-the-art radar systems As Aftermarket Director you will have overall responsibility for how we support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their systems. You will lead the existing Aftermarket & Training team and build new capabilities within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Technical Publications, Contract Management and Lifecycle Engineering. You will work closely with Sales, Programs, Product Management, R&D and Production. Your primary responsibilities will be

  • Aftermarket & Training: Lead the Aftermarket & Training team, including field service, FAT/SAT support, technical support and customer training worldwide.
  • Integrated Logistics Support (ILS): Build and manage an ILS team covering logistics support analysis, spare parts and repair planning, supportability and obsolescence management.
  • Technical Publications: Establish and manage technical publications, ensuring that manuals, maintenance documentation and training material meet customer and industry requirements.
  • Contract Management: Own aftermarket contract management, including service and support agreements, warranty, spare parts and repair contracts – from bid to delivery.
  • Lifecycle Engineering: Lead lifecycle engineering, including upgrades, modifications, reliability and maintainability improvements throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Strategy and growth: Develop and execute the aftermarket strategy with a focus on customer satisfaction, recurring revenue and profitable growth.
  • People leadership: Recruit, develop and lead managers and specialists, and set clear goals, KPIs and processes across the aftermarket organization.

Your qualifications and background We are looking for a strong people leader with a relevant technical or business background and a proven track record of building and driving aftermarket, customer support or service operations for complex technical products, ideally within defense, aerospace or another high-tech industry. You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic and results-oriented mindset. You are comfortable operating in an international environment and know how to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from technical specialists to senior customer representatives. We imagine that you:

  • Have led aftermarket, service, support, maintenance or customer success organizations and excel at stakeholder management.
  • Have a proven track record of building and scaling organizations, capabilities and operating models in a growing business environment.
  • Possess a strong commercial mindset and understand how to develop service offerings, strengthen customer partnerships and drive recurring revenue.
  • Have a solid understanding of lifecycle management, service contracts, supportability, logistics or integrated product support.
  • Are equally comfortable setting strategic directions and driving operational execution.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and are skilled at aligning engineering, sales, production and program organizations around shared goals.
  • Are familiar with AI and its business applications and actively leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making and business outcomes.
  • Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of aftermarket at Weibel. You will play a key role in strengthening customer partnerships, driving long-term growth and building an organization that supports our global ambitions.
