Advisor International Office – temporary position from December 2026-mid April 2028 The International Relations office (IRO) is looking for a structured, proactive and service-oriented professional who enjoys working in an international environment coordinating multiple activities and stakeholders. We are looking for an overall responsible for the BI International Summer School (www.bi.edu/summer). The IRO belongs under the Business Relevance unit where the main focus is on strengthening BI’s position as an internationally recognised business school through work in alumni engagement, career development, and international relations. The department is responsible for building lasting relationships, facilitating networks, and enabling students to develop the skills and experience needed for a relevant and sustainable career. The Business Relevance unit connects students, alumni, and business, contributing to BI’s ambition to shape people and businesses for an international and sustainable future. Work tasks

  • Programme planning and delivery
  • Marketing, recruitment and communication
  • Applications, admissions and student administration
  • International partnerships and student mobility
  • Social programme and events
  • Accommodation and housing coordination
  • Fees and financial administration
  • Student experience and support
  • Evaluation, reporting and continuous development

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Relevant higher education degree, preferably within higher ed administration, business, communications, or project management
  • Experience with program or project management
  • Experience in working with international students, exchange programmes, or summer schools is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple processes, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, academic staff, administrative colleagues, international partners and external suppliers.
  • Strong service orientation and a genuine interest in creating a positive student experience.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from planning through implementation and evaluation.
  • Digital & Data Literacy: Proficient with administrative systems and skilled at using data and student feedback to drive improvements.
  • Service Mindset & Adaptability: Student-focused, service-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Languages: Fluent written and verbal English; Norwegian proficiency is an advantage.
