Adventure Guide, Tour Guide, Guide (Winter Season)

Main duties

• Guiding Northern Lights (Aurora) hunting tours and other snowmobile safaris

• Leading outdoor and nature activities, such as ice fishing and snowshoe hiking

• Organising experiences for individuals and groups, including preparing campfires and outdoor rest stops

• Preparing, maintaining and cleaning equipment, including thermal overalls, snowshoes, skis and snowmobiles, as well as refuelling snowmobiles

• Ensuring customer safety throughout all activities by providing safety briefings, supervising participants, promoting safe and responsible snowmobile driving, and completing required safety and liability documentation

• Delivering high-quality customer service to international guests while creating memorable cultural and nature-based experiences

• Carrying out other duties assigned by the employer that are consistent with the position

Assets

• Previous experience as an adventure guide or an authorised city guide

• Emergency First Aid certificate or equivalent

• French language skills

• Education in archaeology, anthropology or cultural heritage
