What you'll do

About Yutong Bus (Norway) AS Yutong Bus (Norway) AS is the Norwegian subsidiary of Yutong Bus Co., Ltd., responsible for the sales, operations and after-sales support of Yutong buses — in particular new energy electric buses — in Norway and the wider Nordic region. Yutong electric buses are in daily operation in Oslo and other Norwegian cities, supported by repeat fleet orders — including 287 electric buses delivered to Norwegian customers in 2025 alone. Our parent company, Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. (SH.600066), headquartered in Zhengzhou, China, is the world’s largest bus and coach manufacturer by sales volume, holding approximately 10% of the global market. In 2024, Yutong sold 46,918 buses and coaches with revenue of RMB 37.2 billion, and has cumulatively exported more than 110,000 vehicles to over 60 countries and regions across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, the CIS and Africa. As the world’s leading new energy bus maker, Yutong has also been Europe’s No.1 electric city bus brand since 2024. To support our fast-growing Nordic business, Yutong Bus (Norway) AS is looking for an Accountant to join our team in Stokke. About the Role Reporting to the Finance Department of the Chinese headquarters and working closely with local operations, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting, tax filing, treasury and documentation management for Yutong Bus (Norway) AS. You will ensure compliance with Norwegian accounting standards and tax regulations, and serve as the financial bridge between the local business and headquarters. What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Accounting & Financial Reporting: Strictly adhere to the NRS and IFRS standards to independently manage the full-cycle bookkeeping for Yutong Bus’s Norwegian subsidiary, including daily journal entries, invoice issuance, and the preparation and issuance of financial statements, ensuring compliance with both headquarters consolidation requirements and local statutory disclosure obligations.
  • Treasury & Cash Management: Support the development of the subsidiary’s treasury plans, oversee compliant settlement processes, monitor cash flow, and manage foreign exchange risk hedging activities.
  • Document & Records Management: Systematically organize and archive financial and operational documents—including contracts, invoices, customs clearance records, etc.—to ensure completeness, traceability, and full compliance with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act.
  • Tax & Compliance: Accurately complete monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and tax payments for Norway, ensuring full local tax compliance.
  • Statutory Audit: Coordinate with external auditors to complete the annual audit, prepare and provide required audit materials, facilitate audit communications, ensure the timely completion of the annual statutory audit and filing of legal annual reports in accordance with Norwegian regulatory requirements, and assist in preparing documentation for the annual board/shareholders' meetings.
  • Inventory Control: Independently carry out quarterly and annual physical warehouse asset counts and spot checks, exercising an independent financial perspective to safeguard asset security and ensure book-to-physical reconciliation.
  • Internal & External Liaison: Efficiently coordinate with the China headquarters finance team on cross-regional tasks, including report submissions, data statistics, and policy implementation; externally, maintain effective working relationships with the Norwegian Tax Administration, banks, law firms, and external audit firms.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Hold a valid work permit for Norway (mandatory).
  • Solid knowledge of Norwegian accounting and tax regulations, with hands-on experience in local accounting/financial systems (e.g. Visma, Tripletex, PowerOffice or similar).
  • Fluent in English or Chinese, both written and spoken; proficiency in both languages is a strong plus.
  • Detail-oriented, highly responsible and well-organized, with the ability to manage deadlines independently.
  • Prior local finance/accounting work experience in Norway is preferred; experience in a multinational or Chinese-invested company is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/accounting software.

What We Offer

  • A key finance role at Yutong Bus (Norway) AS, the Norwegian subsidiary of the world’s largest bus manufacturer.
  • An international working environment bridging Nordic operations and a global headquarters.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits in line with the local market.
