Accountant

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Accountant Job responsibilities:

• Maintain and update allocation models for Manhour and Overhead (M&O) costs in SAP.
• Perform the monthly M&O allocation process and record related charges and accruals.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to payroll, M&O costs, and prepayments.
• Prepare and issue recharge invoices to internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain master data for M&O processes, including cost centers and cost objects.
• Analyze costs to ensure compliance with relevant agreements and requirements.
• Prepare documentation for and participate in overhead audits.
• Support the execution and documentation of internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and digitalize accounting and allocation processes.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and cost allocation.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and a good understanding of relevant SAP modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
• Experience with payroll accounting is considered an advantage.
• Must have full professional communication skills in both Norwegian and English
