Website: Green SM - Electric Mobility Service, 5-Star Quality | Green SM Job Purpose Lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations for the GSM Sweden entity, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local statutory requirements, group accounting policies, and IFRS/local GAAP. Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on accounting matters, while supervising and developing the accounting team. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany) for the Sweden entity.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results.
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with Swedish GAAP (K2/K3) and/or IFRS, and group reporting requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax filings and manage external relationsships with e.g. Bolagsverket, Skatteverket.
  • Support, mentor, and develop accounting team members
  • Review and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes in line with group policies.
  • Coordinate with Group Finance / Regional Finance teams on reporting requirements, consolidations, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring activities.
  • Drive process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings, including the annual report and other regulatory submissions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., Auktoriserad Revisor, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting standards (K2/K3), tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience working in a multinational company or shared service center environment is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English; Swedish language is requested.
