Accountant to a Growing Tech Company Are you a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant who enjoys a hands-on role with broad responsibility and the opportunity to improve and automate processes? Do you enjoy working independently, solving problems and finding smarter ways of working? Then this could be an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently looking for an Accountant to join a growing international tech company. You will be an important part of the finance function, with broad responsibility for day-to-day accounting, reporting and month-end closing for one or more companies within the Group. Alongside your operational responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, automation and the continued development of the finance function. In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for day-to-day accounting and daily finance processes
  • Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain high quality in the accounting
  • Handle ongoing reporting and tax-related processes
  • Manage accruals, journal entries and other recurring month-end closing activities
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing and support the audit process
  • Perform analyses and reconciliations related to the balance sheet and income statement
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of finance processes and internal controls
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improved system support
  • Collaborate with external accounting, tax and finance partners
  • Be part of a flexible finance function where you may also support colleagues when needed
  • Handle ad hoc questions and analyses together with finance managers and other parts of the organization

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining accounting expertise, analytical thinking and problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to take ownership, identify areas for improvement and influence how processes can be made simpler, smarter and more efficient. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting
  • Has a strong understanding of day-to-day accounting, reconciliations and financial closing
  • Is analytical and able to understand and explain financial data
  • Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their responsibilities
  • Is structured, detail-oriented and solution-oriented
  • Enjoys managing multiple tasks in parallel and reprioritizing when needed
  • Has an interest in systems, digitalization and process improvement
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys collaborating across different functions

It is a plus if you have: Experience with Business Central, Exflow or similar financial systems is considered an advantage, as is experience using digital AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude. About you: You are driven, independent, analytical and solution-oriented, with a strong eye for detail while maintaining a broader perspective. You are curious and quick to learn new systems and processes. Above all, you enjoy finding smarter ways of working and are not afraid to explore new tools and approaches. Does this sound like your next opportunity? We look forward to receiving your application!
