Account Executive

LedgerBee is building the finance system Danish SMEs should have had years ago. General ledger, invoicing, bills, payroll, cards, subscription billing, budgeting — one platform, with AI in the core. Our customers run companies with 10 to 250 employees. Most arrive worn out from juggling five or six tools that don't talk to each other. When we call, the market picks up. Prospects weigh us against e-conomic, Uniconta, Dinero and the new entrants on equal terms — and we're stealing deals from all of them. The incumbents haven't had to fight for a customer in years. We're hiring someone who will. Not an account manager. Not someone who waits for the phone to ring. Most of your leads come to you — inbound, BDRs, partners. When they dry up, we won't tell you what to do — you've built your own pipe from nothing enough times that it's muscle memory. The only thing we'll ask about is your number. If you've checked your pipeline since you started reading this — that's you. What You'll Do

• Own the full sales cycle yourself, from first contact to signature.
• Work inbound leads and build your own outbound pipeline. LedgerBee generates leads, but expect at least half of your pipeline to be yours.
• Sell to owners, managing directors and finance leads at companies with 10 to 250 employees.
• Run your own demos. There's no sales engineer. You'll show a multi-module platform and hold your own when the customer's bookkeeper joins the call.
• Win switchers. Nearly every prospect already runs e-conomic, Uniconta or Dinero, so migration and switching cost will come up in every deal. LedgerBee's onboarding team does the actual migration. Your job is making the case for it.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close.
• Tell product what you hear. The company is small enough that customer feedback changes the roadmap.

Typical deal size is 80,000 to 150,000 DKK in annual contract value, with real negotiation and several people in the room. You'll work alongside Tim Vanmann, Head of Sales, who has scaled sales at Risika and Wired Relations, and a go-to-market team with years at Corpay One behind them. Who they're looking for Must Have

• 2 to 5 years as a closing AE in B2B SaaS. You closed the deals yourself, and you can show your quota attainment. We'll ask for the numbers.
• You've sold a complex platform with multiple modules. A system of record, not a point solution.
• You've sold to SMEs, directly to owners or senior management.
• You're a hunter. You can tell us exactly how you build pipeline from nothing.
• You run demos alone.
• You come from a startup or a smaller company, where there was no finished playbook waiting for you.
• You're money motivated. You care more about the commission plan than the base.
• You want to be the best closer on the team, not a manager.
• Native-level Danish and professional English. Based in or around Copenhagen.
• At minimum a business or vocational upper secondary education (HHX, EUX or similar).

Nice To Have

• BDR experience before you became an AE.
• You're comfortable with basic accounting: bookkeeping, VAT, bank reconciliation. Or you've sold finance software. Credibility with a bookkeeper makes or breaks the demo.
• You've sold against an incumbent and handled migration and switching cost objections.
• You run a structured sales process. You can point to deals you disqualified early, and your CRM is current without anyone asking.
• A background from Danish accounting or finance software, like Visma e-conomic, Dinero, Billy, Pleo, Corpay One or Ageras.

This is not the job if you want an established brand behind you, a finished sales process, and a pipeline that gets served to you. It's also not the job if you'd rather have a high base and a quiet commission plan. Compensation

• Base salary: around 45,000 to 55,000 DKK per month depending on experience.
• Commission: a strong quarter shows up directly on your pay slip, and a strong year changes your annual income materially. There's no ceiling, and you're rewarded extra for customers who stay long term.
• Pension.
• Car and mileage arrangement agreed individually.
• Health insurance, lunch scheme, modern setup.
