3rd Officer (3/O) | Tanker - LPG - Ethylene

OSM Thome is looking for an experienced and safety-minded 3rd Officer for LPG/Ethylene tankers trading worldwide. If you are a professional deck officer with gas tanker background and strong navigation skills, we would like to hear from you. Key responsibilities

• Stand navigational watches in accordance with COLREGs and company procedures
• Assist with cargo and ballast operations for LPG/Ethylene cargoes as directed
• Maintain safety, firefighting and lifesaving equipment as assigned
• Update charts and publications, and keep bridge equipment in good order
• Support the implementation of the safety management system and permit-to-work
• Assist with mooring operations, drills and general deck duties

Requirements

• Valid STCW Officer of the Watch (OOW) Deck license
• Recent experience as 3/O or OOW on LPG and/or Ethylene tankers
• Valid gas tanker endorsements and STCW safety courses
• Good English communication skills, written and spoken
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork in a multinational crew
• Medically fit for sea service with valid seafarer medical certificate
• Candidate must have experience in LPG vessel
• Prefers with valid Schengen visa
• Must have valid STCW including SID and Seamans Book
• Prefers with valid higher license
