What you'll do
Set sail as 3rd Officer on board a modern container vessel with OSM Thome. You will be part of a professional deck team, supporting safe navigation and daily operations worldwide.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with safe navigation, watchkeeping and voyage planning
- Carry out lookout and bridge watch duties as assigned
- Assist with cargo operations, stability and deck routines
- Take part in safety drills, inspections and maintenance of safety equipment
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and international regulations
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license, meeting STCW requirements
- Previous experience on container or similar cargo vessels preferred
- Valid STCW basic safety training and relevant certificates
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and seafarer documents
